Bio + Experience

My name is Wyatt Strassmann, and I'm running to represent the Wake Forest community as Speaker of the House in our Student Government. I'm a rising senior now, but as a week 1 Freshman, I could probably count the number of people I knew on one hand when I decided to attend SG's interest meeting. Even from that early point I knew that I wanted to play an active role in this community, and so I decided to run for Senator representing Babcock Residence Hall. 3 years later, I've been proud to serve as a Senator, SBAC member, Co-Chair of the Physical Planning Committee, Co-Chair of SBAC's DE&I Committee, and Speaker Pro Tempore. Outside of SG, I'm involved in Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, and host a weekly music show with Wake Radio. I'm currently working in the U.S. Senate and studying in D.C. for the Wake Washington Program.
